Champions League Rankings

Here's how the top 10 stack up after Week 2 of Champions League play, factoring in both domestic form and UCL results. Photo: Anadolu Agency

10 Leicester City (Previously: Unranked)
Leicester City haven't started the greatest in the Premier League, but they're a perfect 2-for-2 in Champions League so far. Yes, those victories have come against Club Brugge and Porto, but they're 2-0 and that gets them into the top 10 this week. Paris Saint-Germain drops out, following some dire form in Ligue 1 and a draw in their UCL opener. Photo: Michael Regan

9 Napoli (Previously: 8)
Napoli are undefeated this season, and they just smashed Benfica to go top of their UCL group. They lost Gonzalo Higuain but they're still a ton of fun to watch, and they're also just. Plain. Dangerous. Photo: Maurizio Lagana

8 Arsenal (Previously: 10)
Arsenal are really starting to put it together. They're unbeaten since their opening EPL loss to Liverpool, and they've been fantastic since their terrible showing in the draw against PSG. If they can continue their positive form they'll shoot up the power rankings. Photo: AFP_GL4G0/GLYN KIRK

7 Juventus (Previously: 5)
Juventus have had a couple early hiccups with a loss to Inter Milan in Serie A, plus their draw with Sevilla in the first match of Champions League. They've bounced back in both competitions with wins, but they still drop to 7th in this week's rankings. Photo: AFP_GJ7O4/STRINGER

6 Borussia Dortmund (Previously: 7)
Too much sauce. Dortmund gave Real Madrid everything they could handle in Champions League, and they've been too much to handle in Bundesliga as well, scoring 14 goals in their last three games.  Photo: AFP_GJ8W6/PATRIK STOLLARZ

5 Manchester City (Previously: 4)
Manchester City had won every single match this year before they ended up drawing 3-3 against Celtic. They've been nearly perfect, but they'll move down one spot this week after dropping points against the Bhoys.Photo: Mark Runnacles

4 Real Madrid (Previously: 3)
Real Madrid are still unbeaten this year, but they've drawn three matches on the trot. They lost their only defensive midfielder, Casemiro, to injury, but they're still an incredible team capable of beating anyone in the world without him. Their recent winless run sees them drop a place in the rankings. Photo: AFP_GK47V/ODD ANDERSEN

3 Bayern Munich (Previously: 1)
Bayern were out-gamed by Diego Simeone and his Atletico Madrid side, but they could've come out of this tie with a win on the day. They've still only conceded two goals on the season, and they're still a terrifying prospect. However, the loss to Atleti sees them move down two spots for this week. 2 Barcelona (Previously: 2)
The Alaves loss is still a blight on their record, but since then, Barcelona are unbeaten. The fact that they've drawn Atleti and can't seem to keep a clean sheet sees them stay in second place. Photo: Anadolu Images/Anadolu Agency

1 Atletico Madrid (Previously: 6)
BIG jump for the Colchoneros after their perfect gameplan saw them not only beat Bayern Munich, but look like the better team on the day. They're undefeated this year and have conceded the joint lowest number of goals in Europe alongside the Germans, and that bumps them all the way up to first place in the standings.
